Photography — Overload / WAR SAW
Overload introduced Jamie Thomas’s new brand WAR SAW to the store recently. Because I am their resident photographer, as usual, I roped in one of the staff (Colin) to model and we got some nice pictures for the socials.
The product is great, it’s aimed at the older skateboarder and it’s hitting the spot. It’s not too loud, not too baggy, not too skinny, more of a timeless sort of vibe, wrapped up with really nice materials and quality construction. I haven’t tried skating in the shoes but apparently, they skate well, they certainly look great.
Jamie has been really hands on with the roll out of the brand so he saw the pictures I took. I received some great feedback and he offered me a job shooting for WAR SAW’s socials. I’m super pumped and grateful, positive feedback is nice to hear but when it comes with a “do you want to do some work” as well, it’s even better!
