Photography — The Bundy’s For Treadlie Magazine

My best recollection of this photo series is:

In 2010ish I was preparing for a large exhibition, centred around fixed gear cycling, I wanted to get some images of my friend and famous Australian frame builder Pete Bundy with his Dad in the old shed they built bikes in. Pete’s Dad - Jim, lived out in the western suburbs of Sydney so I met Pete out there with his Son - Harrison and proceeded to shoot a bunch of pics on my old Nikon FM2 loaded with some 1600 B&W film. I was stoked on the pictures, so were the Bundy’s, we used them in the exhibition and they looked great. Fast forward 1 or 2 years, I have kind of — gallery and we’re working with Treadlie Magazine on an exhibition. I think I told them or showed them the photos and they asked if they could use them for a story on the great Bundy frame builders. I said yes, so stoked to have some images published in print. The Bundy’s were also stoked!

The image of the 3 generations is by far my favourite, sadly Jim and Harrison are no longer with us, rest in peace <3
