Domonique King — Artist Profile
Domonique King, also known as Wood Wool Steel, is an artist who works with wood, wool, and steel to create portraits inspired by Black cultural icons and sneaker culture. Her pieces strike a balance between abstract and recognizable—up close, they’re intriguing and open to interpretation; from a distance, the full image becomes clear.
